Cancellation Policies 

At Kompass Kanine, we understand that life happens and plans don't always go as expected. We strive to be as flexible and accommodating as possible while also respecting the time set aside for each client and their dog. Providing advance notice when you need to cancel or reschedule allows us the opportunity to offer that appointment to another client and helps us continue providing the highest level of service.

We appreciate your understanding, communication, and cooperation.

Discovery Session & Navigation Sessions

  • More than 48 hours' notice: Cancel or reschedule at no charge.

  • 24–48 hours' notice: 50% of the scheduled session fee will be charged.

  • Less than 24 hours' notice: The full session fee will be charged.

  • No-show: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will result in the full session fee being charged.

Packages 

  • 14 or more days before the program start date: Cancel for a refund, less any services already provided.

  • Less than 14 days before the program start date: Package payments are non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling: We will do our best to accommodate requests to reschedule based on availability.

  • Missed sessions: Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice may be considered completed and will not be rescheduled.

  • Program timeframe: Packages are intended to be completed within the designated program timeline (one session a week) unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
